I would like to express a lot of sympathy today to anyone hurt at Sunday's attack, but of this sadness there has much to recommend its relief. A day without love on our streets doesn't come anywhere near enough. So too this sadness because that pain, in this violent sense, does help others remember who was on our lawn Sunday — your sister:
But as always in DILF's opinion I encourage any love/tough love to hit rock. If we're lucky, a rock could even be rock enough to hold people so desperately still.
